Known for his work with Marc Jacobs, Nike, Converse, and Givenchy, Tyler Mitchell gained global fame at age 23 when his portrait of Beyoncé graced Vogue’s cover and entered the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.

This first Nordic exhibition highlights themes of self-determination and the brilliance of everyday life, while also imagining future possibilities through the rich history of portraiture. Coming from Berlin’s C/O Museum, the exhibition at K1 offers a unique look into Mitchell’s captivating visual language of beauty, style, and utopia.
